ANGELA + IAN | couples
Angela discovered me through my posts as Mrs. Shortcake on weddingbee.com. She contacted me about having a post-wedding "engagement" session before I moved back to B.C. and I happily obliged.
Ian and Angela are easily two of the most pleasant people I have ever met - a compliment that is not to be taken lightly! Sincere, sweet, and devoted to each other, it was a pleasure to photograph them - even in spite of the soaring temperatures and swarms of mosquitoes out that day!
They willingly braved multiple 'skeeter bites just to please me - how awesome are they?
I had heard that the Winnipeg Exchange district was a cool, albeit somewhat sketchy place to take photos. I asked my husband for directions to the area - and then went to an entirely different place! We ended up passing the Exchange District and heading into the North End of town - which is about as seedy as you can get! Whoops! Angela and Ian were troopers, and managed to keep their composure, despite the lifeless bodies littering the streets and the random bums yelling at them.

[Expletive deleted] it! What I wouldn't give to be able to fly you to NY for a killer post-wedding photo shoot at Yale...there is this gorgeous library that I would love to get a few Mad Men-esque pictures taken before we leave...

Look great Alexandria! Rob proposed yesterday!!!!! So I will definitely be needing some photography done in the future. And I have to say I love your shot of the tattoos showing. I clearly recognize the clan badge and Scottish thistle. I would like to know what clan he is. I am getting my clan's tartan tattooed on my ankle in the near future. Awesome!

I keep meaning to tell you your photos are BEAUTIFUL! I'm in love with the romance and fairy tale quality they all have. I wish you were in Regina so you could snap G but hopefull if mi familia ever makes in to Vancouver together we'll be able to book you for a session before you get too big and famous!
